Technology partners
Carbonor has a long-standing partnership with Polchar, a leader in metallurgical reduction materials for the silicon industry. Polchar has supplied a customized metallurgical coke to smelters throughout Europe since the early 1990s. Over the past ten years, Polchar has developed a pyrolysis technology for the production of biocarbon for the metallurgical industry. The technology is being commercialized through Green Carbon Solutions, which has a pilot production of biocarbon in Indiantown, Florida.
Helene Mørne
Helene has since 2016 led the Carbonor project. She has several years' experience from M&A, climate projects and executive roles in public and private sector.
Tor Mørne
Tor has throughout his career specialized in industrial gases and gas separation, leading and acquiring several international industry companies, before devoting himself to international M&A and climate project development.
Alex Nielsen
Alex Nielsen has since 1996 been the CEO & President of the Polchar group of Companies with factories in Poland producing specialized chemical carbon reductants (char) for the alloy industries, mainly FeSi & SiMetal.
Martin Ellis

Martin is President and CEO of Green Carbon Solutions, a company focused on engineered bio-carbon applications for industrial, soil, water remediation and carbon sequestration. He is a senior executive and board director with a 30-year history in public and private companies managing complex strategic, shareholder, M&A and financial issues to drive shareholder value.
